Showerheads are a common method for even distribution in a the semiconductor industry. This video shows how Simerics-MP was used to simulate flow, heat and compressible effects of ideal gas through this type of hardware. The simulation includes over 40 million cells and was run on a 2 CPU server in less than a standard work day (~7.5 hours).
