Simerics Workshop at SNAME 2018
Join Simerics and Orca3D for a complimentary 3-hour hands-on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) workshop, highlighting the ease-of-use and speed of the Orca3D Marine CFD system. Orca3D Marine CFD is an integration of the Rhino modeling system, the Orca3D marine design plug-in for Rhino, and a special version of Simerics MP with a marine template. With Orca3D Marine CFD, naval architects can easily perform consistent, reliable, and accurate CFD analyses of all types of vessels, at an affordable price and without the need to be a CFD expert.
The workshop will focus not only on the mechanics of how to run an analysis and generate results, but also how to use the software to improve your design. Registrants may download and install an evaluation version of Orca3D Marine CFD prior to the workshop, and bring their own models to analyze during the workshop.

SNAME Members who a) currently hold positions within the maritime industry and b) are full conference registrants for SMC18
